Lead guitar in front of thousands (in my head)
When Ozzy came out with the No More Tears record, he was moved from metal god to mainstream. This is when I noticed him and his guitarist Zakk Wylde.
The guitar solo and the build up to it are just perfect. I can not tell you how many times I would play air rhythm guitar throughout the song and then jump up on my bed for the solo.
The Real Deal
I wish we had you tube back then, it would have made it easier for actually learn the solo. Even having learned the solo, it didn't stop me from pretending to be Zakk.
Check out No More Tears live at Budokan. The solo is at 4:35. Zakk Wylde is a beast as usual. Also notice Robert Trullilo, now of Metallica, on Bass. Here's a picture of him I took at the Metallica show a few weeks ago at Phillips Arena.
