Damion Suomi covers The Cure's "Just Like Heaven"
My friend Damion was visiting Atlanta to record a few songs. I was sitting at my desk and realized I could hear him practicing in the backyard with his buddy David Fountain on mandolin. They couldn't see me, but I cracked the window open so I could breathe in the beautiful music (I love mandolin! And this song!) It was such a moment. I snapped a picture, and sat back to enjoy all the songs they practiced.
Little did I know they were recording the songs and posted the video on YouTube. A couple days later, PasteMagazine.com saw the video and wrote a little article about it in their "Awesome of the Day" section.
It was just a sweet, charming moment that was recorded and watched by so many people without them realizing it until after the fact.
