Shooting like a rockstar

So it's no secret that I love what I do, but sometimes i show up on a job and feel like my subjects have been forced to line up for school picture day.  WHAT?! never again do i want to bring back my middle school and highschool picture taking experiences.  My job is to find a person's strong features and put them in the best light.  So I need two things in order to do that: trust from the subject, and fun - and i mean fun had by everyone at the shoot.  Why do it if it isn't fun?  One of my favorite clients is P&N magazine - you wouldn't believe the topics we talk about on set.  Poor Paul who is always the only guy, but he seems to learn from it rather than be totally grossed out or mortified....he's learning a lot about the opposite sex on these shoots.  So on this shoot we decided to karoke to Journey at the end and party like rock stars....and of course we got our cover shot done at the same time.
