The State of the ... ???ART???
When this song came out, it was a beacon that things were changing in music. MTV played this as their 1st video ... yes... they used to play videos. WHAT is gonna kill the video star? We hear way too much with our eyes as a society. Disney Channel determines what your children are listening to. Micky Mouse has grown up a cow. (Obscure Bowie reference.)
We all still listen and feel passion for songs and artists, but as the music gets more 'freedom of expression' ... it also gets to be FREE (illegal downloads=Stealing) and DUMB, (did you know that the average RAP fan has an IQ 10 points lower than average?). Yes I have the stats if you want them.
