I met the only guy I have ever loved when I was 10, we started dating when I was 17. We dated for 6 years and every year he made me a mix CD of songs that reminded him of me or just songs we both loved etc...Our relationship was always like a roller coaster, up one minute and fun then down the next and truly awful. When it came down to the very end I had to break up with him over an email (ridiculous and not my choice literally my only option)but I did decide to send him a mix CD in the mail along with all his shit. The number one song on it was Bloc Party's "Like Eating Glass" a song that still makes my entire body tense up and my heart pound so hard I'm afraid its going to fall out of my chest. The line "And it hurts all the time when you don't return my calls, and you haven't got the time to remember how it was" sums up the very reason why we broke up. I have the love mix Cd, he has the breakup.
