Emotionally speaking I would say Tennessee is my favorite classic to play live. This is because of how it was inspired by the tragic events that happened to Speech. The emotional prayer to God in that song gives me goosebumps just about every time we perform it live.

Ponyboy Some deep lyrics in that song. I grew up in Tennessee although nowhere near Ripley/Memphis... and this song has such a somber tone that reminds me of the early 90s when my own family moved there. Even as a teenager, I wondered if my parents had gone nuts for relocating (from Texas). My brother now lives on Peachtree in ATL. Small world... Big song! :)
